California Association of Health Plans 2025 Seminar
Shaping the Future of Behavioral Health
Behavioral health, which includes both mental health conditions and substance use disorders, requires coordination of care across health, housing, and social service systems. California has invested heavily over the past several years in initiatives that aim to increase access to these critical services and implement programs that address complex needs across the behavioral health spectrum. State regulators, local agencies, providers, and health plans are collaborating to better align funding and services to strengthen the behavioral health system. Perspectives from a variety of experts with on-the-ground experience will provide insights into how key initiatives are being implemented and assessed for compliance, best practices, and lessons learned.
A ZeOmega expert will be speaking at the event.

Attendees will learn:
- Strategies for integrating social determinants into care models to create a more holistic and sustainable approach to treatment.
- Best practices for building a foundation of care that not only treats symptoms but also root causes of behavioral health challenges.
- How to promote long-term recovery and well-being for diverse populations.
